Founded in 1973, the Infusion Nurses Society (INS) is the only organization serving healthcare professionals administering intravenous therapy to patients. INS members are primarily registered/licensed nurses, pharmacists, doctors and students working in a variety of settings including hospitals, home care, hospices, outpatient/ambulatory centers and physician’s offices. As an integral part of a patients care, INS members specialize in administering parenteral fluids, blood & blood components, pharmacological agents, nutritional solutions and pain medications.
