These entail the purchase of asset-rich companies or absentee-owned private businesses with growth potential in order to revitalize or reorganize them.
Venture capital sources may include small business investment companies (SBIC),divisions of major corporations, publicly held venture capital firms,investment banks and venture capital limited partnerships.
