These families often hover around 100% to 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. A family earning $50,000 per year may be at 100% of the Federal Poverty Level depending on the number of dependents in the family. These consumers often care for their older parents. These consumers are highly mail responsive and are always purchasing goods and services to take care of their families. These families have little ability to save and typically have low discretionary spending incomes.
