In the 2020 presidential election, veterans turned out to vote at a rate that was 8% higher than non-veterans. With a duty to their country and fellow man, these donors are active in mid-term, gubernatorial and presidential elections!
Veterans are also more likely to be registered to vote than their non-military peers and are more likely to have voted in recent elections. Studies suggest that veterans averaged 95 hours of volunteer work a year, compared to 74 hours for non-veterans working on community issues. In almost all measures, veterans old and young were more civically healthy than non-veterans.
