Comprising the de Young Museum in Golden Gate Park and the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park, they are the largest public arts institution in the City of San Francisco and one of the largest art museums in the United States.
The Mission is to connect our visitors with local and global art in order to promote their knowledge of and curiosity about the past, deepen their engagement with the art and ideas of today, and stimulate their creative agency in their own futures.
De Young and Legion of Honor Museums. Members of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) receive free admission to the permanent collection and most special exhibitions, representing art many cultures, eras, and genres. Other benefits of membership include museum store discounts and a subscription to fine arts magazine, a members-only publication that includes the FAMSF calendar of events.
Membership dues begin at $99 per year.
