The donors on this list honor the Tuskegee Airmen in World War II. The Airmen fought two wars: one against the Nazis overseas, the other against segregation and commanders who sometimes rooted for their failure. This list was built with their unique story in mind; it appeals to both donors with a strong interest in military history and those interested in the progress of Civil Rights in our great nation. These donors know that the success of the Tuskegee Airmen in WWII led to the integration of the Armed Forces in 1948. They will give to any cause that honors the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen – both on the battlefield and off. The museum is currently located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
