Wounded Paw Project is dedicated to ending dog abuse. They rescue dogs from kill shelters and dogfighting rings then train them to be fully certified service animals for veterans who need them.

WPP is governed by the PAW principle:

Protecting - abuse is human disposition that is a gateway to continual crime

Advocacy - legislation, collaboration, and publicizing animal abuse/cruelty via government/organizations/social media

Wagployment - healing and offering them a second “tail” in life as a Service Dog
