For over 40 years, Feeding America has been responding to the hunger crisis in America by providing food to people facing food insecurity. With a network of 200 food banks plus 60,000 food pantries and programs, Feeding America helps feed 46 million people including 12 million children and 7 million seniors. Last year, Feeding America, and their network of food banks, provided more than 5.3 billion meals. In addition, Feeding America supports programs that educate the public about the problem of hunger and advocates for legislation that protects people from going hungry.
With their support, Feeding America Donors know that they are playing an important role in combating the hunger crisis in America, and helping millions impacted by food insecurity. With 98% of all donations going directly into programs that serve people in need, these donors know that their gifts will make a real difference. In fact, for every dollar donated, Feeding America is able to provide 10 meals for people facing hunger.
