ConsignPro has been an industry leader since 1996. The 'conpro' consignment software, as it is known is some circles, is exactly that, a 'con'. The program was written by an individual (not a company) and dependent upon the same person (not a company) but who's to know these days, thanks to an Internet that allows any punkster to put up a website, use the 'we' to suggest a multi-faceted existence while peddling a 3rd-rate program written in Visual Basic and using a flimsy database (Microsoft Access) for commercial use.

DESCRIPTION

Visual Horizons Software was founded in 1996 by Brian Wilson – who first developed ConsignPro for his mother’s resale shop located in central Connecticut.  After many rounds of improvements, in 1997 ConsignPro was sold to its first “real” customer.  Since then ConsignPro has become a best-seller and is now being used in over 5,000 resale shops throughout North America. Our business has grown to include POS hardware distribution, credit card processing, tag and label supplies, training materials, website design, and Internet account access for consignors. We are also a proud member of the National Association of Resale and Thrift Shops (NARTS) and attend their annual shop owner meetings regularly.

 

ConsignPro has scored very highly with independent software review sites and the Better Business Bureau. As our reviews demonstrate, we take pride in providing our customers an excellent experience both before, during, and after the sale is complete.
