Founded in 1971, Help Heal Veterans (HEAL VETS) has provided free therapeutic craft kits to hospitalized and homebound veterans for generations. Over that time, they have helped traumatized veterans improve their motor skills, while also developing better feelings of self-esteem and self-worth. Their therapeutic craft kits help veterans take their minds out of the past and off their pain, letting them live more in the present.
HEAL VETS was organized after research and discussions with doctors, therapists and patients from various medical centers and military hospitals. Treatment centers and patients pay nothing for this generous service, made possible by thousands of caring contributors wanting to express their love and appreciation to America’s heroes. They remain committed to helping as many hospitalized, recuperating or homebound military and veteran patients as possible through a variety of programs and services. Military and veterans’ families also benefit from HEAL VETS programs.
These patriotic donors are strongly committed to veteran causes. Compassionate and generous, they also respond to Health/Disease, Societal Benefit, Cultural, Human Services and International Relief offers. Additionally, they have proven responsive for commercial offers that include, alternative investments, collectibles, general merchandise and insurance.
Wiland members can apply their models to Help Heal Veterans to target individuals who most closely match their own donors, subscribers or buyers. This provides an ideal audience for out-of-category mailers or for continuation mailers to augment their existing segments.
