American Forests, the oldest national nonprofit conservation organization in the country, advocates for the protection and expansion of America’s forests. Since 1990, American Forests has planted more than 45 million trees. Their work includes restoring watersheds to help provide clean drinking water, replanting forests destroyed by human action and by natural disasters, educating the public on the importance of forests, advocating for forests in public policy issues and much more. American Forests uses a variety of programs to address many facets of forest protection and restoration in all 50 states and in 38 countries worldwide.
