EXCHANGE ONLY. The Red Tail Project celebrates the accomplishments of the Tuskegee Airmen World in War II.
The Airmen fought two wars - one against the Nazis overseas, the other against segregation in the Armed Services as well as in everyday life. The extraordinary success of the Tuskegee Airment in WWII led to the integration of the Armed Forces in 1948.
The Donors to CAF Red Tail Squadron aid in educating audiences across the country about the history and legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen – America’s first black military pilots and their support personnel – so their strength of character, courage and ability to triumph over adversity may serve as a means to inspire others to rise above obstacles in their own lives and achieve their goals.
The Red Tail Squadron’s RISE ABOVE traveling exhibit and P-51C Mustang travel 9 months out of the year. The operation of the Mustang fighter as well as other educational outreach vehicles like the exhibit, are supported by these generous donors.
