DESCRIPTION

Homemakers of America allows you to target individuals that run and manage their household. Homemakers have a lot of responsibilities. They oversee the organizational, financial, and day-to-day operations of their home. They make all meals, provide childcare, and household repairs.

The majority of homemakers are women; however it is becoming more prevalent for men in recent years. Homemakers buy groceries to prepare meals for their families, take control of housekeeping duties, make sure all laundry is clean and stored away, see that proper maintenance is done to service household equipment, lawn and garden maintenance, as well as overseeing the organizational, financial, and day-to-day operations of their home.

Some women have left the paid workforce to concentrating full-time on child-rearing; particularly through their child(ren)'s early years. There is considerable variability within the stay-at-home mother population with regard to their intent to return to the paid workforce. Some plan to work from their homes, some will do part-time work, some intend to return to part or full-time work when their children have reached school age, some may increase their skill sets by returning to higher education, and others may find it economically feasible to refrain from entering (or re-entering) the paid workforce.

Similarly, there is considerable variation in the stay-at-home mom's attitude towards domestic work not related to caring for children. Some may embrace a traditional role of housewife, cooking and cleaning in addition to caring for children. Others see their primary role as that of child-care providers, supporting their children's physical, intellectual, and emotional development while sharing or outsourcing other aspects of home care.

They hold many responsibilities within these homes. They make sure everything is clean and presentable. Homemakers dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and wash the entire house from top to bottom. They clean dishes, wash down cabinets, disinfect the bathrooms, clean the laundry, and fold it. They organize all closets, cabinets, and drawers of the house. They write out the grocery lists, shop for the food and other household items, and prepare all meals. These homemakers are skilled in food cooking as well as sewing. Coordinating the pool cleaners and landscaping is another weekly task. If their client has children, they are also in charge of their whereabouts. They make sure the kids are taken to school, dance lessons, or soccer practice. Their homemaker puts together an entire schedule for the household to follow by and assists the children with their homework/school projects.

Homemakers purchase items which include dry erase boards, dusting products, vacuums, detergent, fabric softener, soap, bathroom soap, glass cleaners, brooms, mops, paper towels, any type of groceries, reusable shopping bags, cooking utensils, pots, pans, appliances, computers, clothing, plastic containers, note pads, aprons, wash cloths, sewing kits, a cell phone, and laptops.

This list is ideal for DIY, insurance, credit card, homemaking magazines, home supply catalogs, continuing education courses, travel, home décor catalogs, children’s recreational programs, and retail offers.
