ADR has awarded more than $192 million in grants from inception to support promising research in fields ranging from molecular biology to epidemiology.

Alzheimer’s disease accounts for approximately 60–70% of all dementia cases, making it the most common cause of dementia. Currently, more than 55 million people worldwide are living with dementia, and this number is projected to rise to around 150 million by 2050.

Donors support the funding for research and cure of this age-related and genetically factored disease and are on average age 60-65 with an average household income of $50k+.  ADR maintains an average gift of $35 and are 100% direct mail sourced.  Grants are made to doctors and scientists at prestigious institutions around the country with these donations!

While these donors are dedicated to the research and cure of Alzheimer’s, many have also been afflicted personally by loved ones with alzheimer's and/or other alzheimer related illnesses.  ADR donors also express their compassion for other Health/Disease, Social/ Humanitarian, Environmental and Veteran causes.
