Founded in 1996, the Society for Neuro-Oncology is the premier North American organization for clinicians, basic scientists, nurses and other health care professionals whose focus is central nervous system tumors in children and adults. As a multidisciplinary organization, SNO’s mission is to promote advances in neuro-oncology through research and education.
SNO membership is drawn from multiple disciplines, including epidemiology, medical oncology, neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, pathology, pediatrics, psychology, radiology, radiation oncology, and basic science. Active members hold doctorate-level degrees, associate members are involved in neuro-oncology research, treatment or support, without holding a doctorate-level degree, and trainee members include those with or without doctorate-level degrees, in fellowship, post-doctoral or other educational positions, below a faculty level.
Cancer care changes each and every day. Due to the dynamic nature of medicine, SNO members need to stay current with the latest technology and research. They are an ideal target audience for a variety of offers and high-ticket items to help build, support and enhance their profession.
