Their treatments involve the application of physical agents, using equipment, such as hydrotherapy tanks and whirlpool baths, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, ultrasound and traction machines. Additionally, physical therapists are responsible for evaluating, fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthopedic devices.
