Donors to the Home of the Sages, one of the first and most famous managed care facilities for elderly Jews, located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
This institution was started at the turn of the last century by Jews who had emigrated from the Polish city of Bialystok, home of the world-famous bialy roll and also to a huge, scholarly community of traditional Jews.
