More conservative than their East/West Coast counterparts, the Rural Democrats living in the heartland of America are known to support causes like the NRA, school voucher programs, farming subsidies and trade restrictions with Foreign countries. Many of these philosophies are in sync with the Republican Platform. Based on exit polls and election results, many Rural Democrats vote a “split ticket”. They cross over party lines to vote for a candidate or cause they support. This file is comprised of 100% County C and D residents. Although these Rural Democrats reside in the most sparsely populated areas of the country – they are not out of touch. They stay on top of news concerning issues affecting both the USA and the world by subscribing to multiple magazines & newspapers. They are the heart & soul of small America but they speak with a big voice and generously donate all they can when asked.
