Since 1972, Lambda Legal Defense Fund has defended the civil rights of gay persons in such areas as employment, housing, education, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, child custody, and the administration of justice. They provide information to help educate the court to the needs of lesbians and gays and help inform the gay community about its rights and recent local developments.
