Founded in 1946, the School Nutrition Association (SNA) is the largest and only association dedicated to serving supervisors, managers, administrators, nutritionists, and other professionals involved in the preparation of the food served in cafeterias at the elementary and secondary school educational levels. Recognized as the authority on school nutrition programs, SNA’s mission is to advance good nutrition for all children.
SNA members are school food service professionals responsible for a variety of tasks at the state, county/district or local levels. These include: implementing dietary guidelines, managing and training cafeteria staff, food preparation, child nutrition, menu planning, purchasing, food safety, and other functions of managing school food service operations or a school cafeteria. SNA members are the decision-makers for thousands of products and services used in school kitchens and cafeterias. Members are divided into categories for $25/M extra.
SNA members are selectable by category which includes Directors/ Supervisors (administering at the state, county or district levels), Managers (managing for single school or central kitchen), and Employees (working in a single school cafeteria or central kitchen).
