Memberships in golf clubs in many countries is
not only for golf enthusiasts. It is for
those who can afford it, and who need the
prestige that goes along with the membership.
The extremely high-profile image is necessary
to get important business contracts signed for
the companies they represent.
In some golf clubs, there is a limit to the
number of members that the clubs can have at
any given time. The purpose of setting the
