Founded in 1975, the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic & Neonatal Nursing Specialties (NCC) is a nonprofit association that provides its buyers with national credentialing and continuing education programs in the fields of obstetrics, gynecology and neonatal care. NCC buyers are primarily inpatient obstetric nurses, women’s health care nurse practitioners, and neonatal intensive care nurses.
NCC buyers are primarily women at home addresses actively involved in a host of different aspects of neonatal care including: electronic fetal monitoring, breast feeding, gynecologic/reproductive health care, menopause, infant care, etc. Buyers pay an average of $79 to $114 to participate in NCC’s annual certification programs and are selectable by the specialties on page 2 for $20/M extra.
