Founded in 1975, the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic & Neonatal Nursing Specialties (NCC) is a nonprofit association that provides its buyers with national credentialing and continuing education programs in the fields of obstetrics, gynecology and neonatal care. NCC buyers are primarily inpatient obstetric nurses, women’s health care nurse practitioners, and neonatal intensive care nurses.
