Boys & Girls Clubs of America began in 1860 with the belief that youth who roamed the streets should have a positive alternative. Young people need safe, welcoming places where they can learn, grow and thrive. BGCA believes every kid and teen deserves access to life-shaping experiences designed to empower youth to lead healthy, productive lives. Through caring mentors, innovative programming and an unwavering commitment to safety and inclusion, Clubs across the nation do whatever it takes to support all youth on their path to a great future.
There are over 5,200 Clubs facilities across the U.S. and military installations serving over 3.3 million young people in a typical year.
