ADR has awarded more than $93.7 million to support promising research in fields ranging from molecular biology to epidemiology.

Alzheimer’s disease represents around 70% of all cases of dementia, making it the most common cause of dementia.  It is estimated that there are currently 26 million people worldwide with Alzheimer’s disease. This figure is projected to grow to more than 106 million people by 2050.

Donors support the funding for research and cure of this age-related and genetically factored disease and are on average age 60-65 with an average household income of $57k+.  ADR maintains an average gift of $23 and are 100% direct mail sourced.  Grants are made to doctors and scientists at prestigious institutions around the country with these donations!

While these donors are dedicated to the research and cure of Alzheimer’s, many have also been afflicted personally by loved ones with alzheimer's and/or other alzheimer related illnesses.  ADR donors also express their compassion for other Health/Disease, Social/ Humanitarian, Environmental and Cultural causes.
