An internationally renowned art museum and one of the most significant architectural icons of the 20th century, the Guggenheim Museum is at once a vital cultural center, an educational instituion, and the heart of an international network of museums.

The Guggenheim Museum is a 95 foot tall sculpture poised opposite Central Park on Manhattan's "Museum Mile." Today, the museum houses over 3,000 paintings, sculptures and works on paper from the 19th and 20th centuries. There are 8 to 12 major shows each year in addition to group and one man shows. Special events include lectures, films and performing arts. The museum continues to evolve, joining the contemporary trend toward branch museums with the opening of an additional facility in arts-filled SoHo, New York.
