This file is comprised of voters, donors, activists and petition signers who supported the 2011 effort to recall Arizona Governor Jan Brewer, a Republican best known for instituting a highly controversial and polarizing immigration policy.
Approximately 30% of the file is comprised of Republicans disgruntled with Gov. Brewer's cuts to Medicaid, Education and services for the disabled, elderly and needy. The other 70% are Democrats and Independents who typically support progressive causes and strongly opposed the Governor's immigration stance as well as the cuts she initiated to organ transplant funding for Medicaid recipients.
The activists on this file are deeply committed and gave sacrificially, volunteered tirelessly and supported the recall effort in a multitude of ways. The majority of the file includes name and complete postal address. Over 15% include matching opt-in email addresses. Another 5% of the file is comprised opt-in email address with zip code. The majority of records represent Arizona residents but out-of-state donors and supporters are included.
This highly responsive list is well-suited to donor, advocacy and voter appeals for progressive and liberal candidates, issues, PACS and organizations opposing cuts to healthcare, Social Security, social programs serving the disabled, elderly and needy, and education. They are also staunchly opposed to anti-immigration policies like Arizona's SB-1070 championed by Gov. Brewer, and can be expected to support liberal social causes.
